By drawing on all the individual divisions with Medacs Healthcare Ltd we can offer a true end-to-end approach, advising you on your recruitment strategy, implementing appropriate recruitment campaigns, through to managing elements of your recruitment process on your behalf.
How We Work
Unlike many service providers, Medacs Healthcare works through the Human Resources department, not around them. We act as a partner to HR departments – supplementing them, where necessary, with specialist skills, resources and experience.
Each Client is appointed a dedicated Account Team accessed through a single point of contact. This team is responsible for ensuring that individual requirements are correctly established and operational procedures are strictly adhered to. Regular review meetings are undertaken and management information is provided to ensure that our performance is effectively monitored.
Once objectives have been established the Account Team works with the relevant specialist division(s) to identify potential matches. By utilising these dedicated divisions, it allows Medacs Healthcare to maximise the benefit of having specialist knowledge of the markets within which they operate:
-Doctors(Acute, Mental Health, GPs)
-Nursing(General and Specialist Nursing)
-Professionals(Scientific, Therapies, Dental and Medical Secretaries)
Candidate Supply
We have achieved our reputation and status based on delivering exceptional customer service. For this very reason we naturally attract high quality candidates onto our dedicated divisions databases, who then become very loyal to us. In fact over 65% of the candidates registered with Medacs Healthcare did so after being recommended to us by a fellow healthcare professional.
However, we can also draw upon the services of 3 specialist Resourcing teams to undertake specific candidate attraction programme to meet client specific requirements. These teams consist of:
International Resourcing– undertaking regular recruitment campaigns across Department of Health (DOH) approved countries, incorporating both on-line and off-line marketing initiatives, as well as specific recruitment visits within certain countries.
UK Resourcing – identifying potential matches on Medacs Healthcare Ltd’s existing candidate database, and undertaking UK based marketing campaigns such as advertising, road shows, and recruitment exhibitions.
Permanent Recruitment– for substantive posts, we have a dedicated team that will search and identify candidates to fulfil these positions. The team are constantly building a comprehensive database of healthcare professionals that are looking for permanent work, whilst they will also draw upon the assistance of the both the UK and International Resourcing Teams for specific placements.
Quality Procedures
It is essential that our clients have full confidence in the quality and integrity of both locum and permanent staff. As such, our procedures are designed provide a risk free environment to our clients, our doctors and their patients alike.
Our registration process involves a rigorous scrutiny of each doctor, ensuring only the most qualified and competent doctors are registered. Our procedures have been developed to incorporate the appropriate guidelines laid down (e.g. NHS Executive’s Code of Practice in the Appointment and Employment of HCHS Locum Doctors, Care Standards Act 200 etc).
We also operate a structured complaints procedure should any of our Clients identify an incident that requires investigation.
